Book Review: Iced by Avery Daniels

A clever, funny cozy awaits you in Iced by Avery Daniels.

When Julienne finds herself the prime suspect in the murder of a celebrity pastor, she decides to turn up some alternative suspects with her investigation. Problem is she also catches the attention of someone who is quite happy with her being implicated and will stop at nothing to make sure she doesn't uncover the truth.

Every time I read a cozy I remember how much I love them. Daniels has created a strong first book in the Resort to Murder Mystery with a ton of promise to come.

Julienne is a career-mind young woman who winds up in a bit of mess. But like the champ she is she's not going to stand idly by while the police build a case against her. Instead, she begins her own little investigation in the hopes of digging up enough evidence to help police track down the real culprit. Daniels really puts this character through the wringer, which makes for a fabulous story. There's some romance and humor along the way too. I can't wait to see what is in store for our quirky event planner.
